Accountant and Admin Assistant

QQ Fashion Pty Ltd is an Australian-based importer, manufacturer and wholesaler of quality ladies’ garments for a vast portion of the Australian population. Today, QQ Fashion has three warehouses located strategically throughout Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Well-known through our labels, much loved by our customers, we have been in business for over 20 years.

We are seeking an Accounts and Administration Assistant to join our accounts team on a casual basis (2-3 days per week, 8 hours per day) working Monday to Wednesday (flexible) on an ongoing basis.
While initially structured as a casual role, the role has potential for conversion to permanent part time/full time after 6 months (subject to performance and the applicant's visa conditions).
You will be working under our General Manager and receiving tasks assigned to you with training.

Your main responsibilities include but not limit to:
• Daily cash up and receipting
• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Credit card expenditure reconciliation
• Banking and monthly bank reconciliation
• Paper works assigned to you

Essential Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in accounts/bookkeeper
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive and professional attitude
• Clear communication skills both in English and Mandarin/Cantonese
• Qualification in accounting or working towards it

Desirable criteria (not essential)

• Experience using Reckon/Quickbook accounting system
